Description: As a Test Engineering Intern at Takamori Robot, you will help develop, test, and document robotics projects built on our open source platforms. This role blends hands on hardware work with embedded programming, giving you real experience in robotics product development.
You will:
• Build and test robotics kits and subsystems
• Develop small software and hardware projects that demonstrate platform capabilities
• Document your work clearly so it can be used by customers, educators, and developers
• Identify usability issues, durability concerns, and lifetime performance problems
• Provide feedback that directly influences future product revisions
This is a practical, engineering focused internship where your work will be used in real products and educational materials.
Required Skills
• Proficiency in C++ programming.
• Proficiency in electronics and circuit design.
• High School Diploma
• Proficiency in microcontrollers and Embedded Systems (Preferred)
• Ability to follow engineering documentation.
• Technical writing skills.
• Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn robotics skills hands-on.
