Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may use the Services only for yourself or an organization you are authorized to represent.

2. Profiles, recruiting, and user content

Engineers may create profiles and submit project or application materials. Recruiters and hiring organizations may use the Services to review profiles, applications, and project evidence for legitimate recruiting and hiring purposes. They must use applicant information only for those purposes, keep access limited to authorized people, and handle their own legal obligations for candidate notices and hiring decisions.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and process that content as needed to operate the features you use, including providing AI-assisted features through service providers. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for content already shared with others, limited backups, audit records, or retention required by law or security needs.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions to submit content. Do not upload information that violates another person’s rights or your confidentiality obligations, including an employer’s or client’s NDA. Do not submit classified, export-controlled, or otherwise restricted technical data.

3. AI-assisted features

The Services may use AI to draft or summarize content, answer questions, or organize evidence for a hiring workflow. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased and is not professional or hiring advice. AI features assist users; they do not make hiring decisions. Hiring organizations must independently review outputs and remain responsible for their decisions and compliance with applicable law.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed by AI providers and the limits on using submitted information to train general-purpose models.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the Services unlawfully, deceptively, or to discriminate or harass.
• Scrape, harvest, resell, or redistribute profile or applicant information.
• Use information obtained through the Services to train or improve an AI or machine-learning model, build a competing database or service, or conduct unrelated surveillance or background research.
• Bypass access controls, interfere with the Services, or upload malicious code.
• Misrepresent your identity, authorization, experience, or submitted content.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Services, or comply with law.

5. Service providers and third-party services

We use service providers to operate the Services, including hosting, authentication, communications, and AI processing. Their access is limited to providing services to us under applicable terms and arrangements. Links to third-party services are governed by those services’ own terms and policies.

6. Service availability and liability

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will update the effective date. Where required, we will give notice of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by Washington State law, excluding its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
